It's been a while since I got to work as a 9-5 all day scenic artist and this was an absolute blast. It's also rare these days to get to paint something so extensive and beautiful. This design, by Linda Whitney, was inspired by the work of Maxfield Parrish and provided the scenic artists with vast surfaces to cover with art. Check out the mountains behind the trees. That was my favorite part.
